Asia is the most populous and most dynamic region in the world. Yet, this region is facing many changes that include poverty, social discrimination, war and conflict, human rights, housing sanitation and more.

Submit a short video together with a synopsis of what and why this social issue should be conveyed. We want you to be our communicator of such social issues in any Asian country. Not only videos make a pictorial and more powerful medium, this will also help us deepen our understanding on the problems Asia face. It can be documentary, fiction, drama or animation all told in 60 seconds. So get your creative juices flowing for a one minute of your own ‘real issues, real stories’, which will serve as an inspiration to everyone.

Winning videos will be ASIAN Geographic’s very own awareness tool to deliver the issues loud and clear!

The Judging
ASIAN Geographic in-house team will select 10 finalists for judging by the international judging panel. Winners will be announced on 31 May 2010.

By submitting video(s) to ASIAN Geographic Society's Competitions. You hereby give permission to this organisation, or its affiliates(s) to use the submitted videos. You acknowledge and agree that ASIAN Geographic Society's or its affiliates may publish the above video without prior review by You.

Such footage of the Society membership card may be used worldwide for so long as our organisation shall decide. You understand that no payment will be paid to you now or in the future for any use of the photos/videos. ASIAN Geographic Society won't be liable for any violation of copyrights. You are responsible for any usage of images/graphics/video or content of the submitted video. Videos must not contain pornorgraphic content and/or other information that violates ethic.

The undersigned declares that he/she has the authority to grant this permission and that such permission is granted without limit and in perpetuity (no end date).
