ASIAN GEOGRAPHIC SOCIETY IS…
a non-profit, scientific and educational society dedicated to the promotion and conservation of Asia’s environment, culture and wildlife. It encourages civic consciousness for all Asians to take greater responsibility of their surrounding for the benefit of humanity and earth's biological diversity.
Every year, ASIAN Geographic Society will host writing competitions focusing on different themes. This year, we decided to start with one of the pressing issue on our planet, that is – Climate Change.
There are so many versions of climate issues right now. We want to know your thoughts, your understanding and more importantly your views on how we can and shall tackle it.
Write an essay of 1000–2000 words, in English and be as creative as you want in treating the story. The best part is you win prizes and stand a chance to get your work published on our online portals, events and printed issues of our magazines.
The Judging
A panel of editors, professors and writers will judge your article. The 10 highest ranked articles will then be posted on the website for people to read and vote for online. This vote will count towards the judges’ final decision.

• Structure and Clear Communication
• All articles will be subject to a plagiarism software check
